DB2 VFD Fan Controller
Smart airflow, lower energy costs. Ten speed levels and a temperature-based 0–10 V output, in an IP66 unit that is set up on the barn wall or from anywhere.

The DB2 is the ventilation controller at the head of the fan circuit. It reads barn temperature, moves along ten speed levels and drives variable-frequency fans through a 0–10 V analogue output — so airflow tracks the barn instead of running flat out from morning to night.
- Temperature-based 0–10 V analogue output for VFD fans
- A switched enable output alongside — run as well as how fast
- Ten selectable speed levels, tuned from the front panel
- IoT / Local / Off mode selector — ventilation runs without a network
- IP66 enclosure, 290 × 190 × 110 mm, −20 to +80 °C
- 10Selectable speed levels
- 0–10 VTemperature-based analogue output
- IP66Barn-ready enclosure
- 3Mode choices — IoT, Local, Off
Why the DB2 is specified
Four points straight off the DB2 brochure — and the reason it ends up on the wall of a fan line.
Automatic fan control
DB2 adjusts fan speed automatically as barn temperature changes.
Ten speed levels
Selectable stages keep airflow stable and easy to tune.
Local or remote
Set strategies on-site or through the BARNEYE IoT platform.
IP66 barn-ready enclosure
Protected for demanding, humid dairy environments.
How it works
Read, decide, control — repeated every time the barn temperature moves.
- 01 Read Barn temperature is the only input the controller needs at this grade.
- 02 Decide The DB2 selects the right speed level for that reading.
- 03 Control A 0–10 V signal drives the variable-frequency fan to that speed.
Three positions on the selector
Remote when the network is there, local when it is not, and a clean way to stop.
- IoT Remote status and strategy updates from any web-enabled device.
- Local Straightforward front-panel operation when a network is unavailable.
- Off Safe shutdown — the third position on the selector.

This grade runs on its own. The Mini-C Plus is what the site adds when it is ready to move up a grade.
