Where it sits

More vision, without replacing the control layer

Mini-C Pro is planned as an independent vision node. It takes on the recognition workload — more tasks, more streams, more compute — and hands decisions to the controllers already running the barn: a Mini-C, a Mini-C Plus, or compatible DB devices.

That is the difference from the other two. Mini-C and Mini-C Plus put control in the box; the Pro puts processing in the box and leaves control where it is.

  • Planned for systems that already have a control layer in place
  • No module slots — it is not a control enclosure
  • Designed to sit alongside Mini-C, Mini-C Plus and compatible DB controllers
Planned capability

What is planned

The capabilities we are building toward. Numbers are deliberately absent until they are verified.

Higher vision throughput

More compute for recognition, so more cameras and more tasks can run at once. The supported capacity is still being defined.

More vision tasks

Headroom for models beyond today’s presence and location work, without adding another controller to the cabinet.

Expansion, not replacement

Extends an installed Mini-C or Mini-C Plus system instead of replacing the controllers that already run the barn.

An independent node

A separate unit on the network, so vision can be scaled without re-engineering the control cabinet.

Development status

What is still being validated

Three questions decide the released specification. We publish the answers when they are settled, not before.

Network coordination

How the Pro hands work to Mini-C, Mini-C Plus and DB controllers on site, and what happens when the network drops.

Validation in progress
Processing capacity

How many cameras and tasks a single node will carry at production frame rates and resolutions.

Validation in progress
Compatibility

Which existing installations can add a Pro without changes to wiring or configuration.

Validation in progress
System fit

How it fits an installed system

The Pro is one layer in a chain that already exists.

  1. 01 Cameras PoE cameras stream the zones that need recognition.
  2. 02 Mini-C Pro Recognition and processing run on the Pro, away from the control cabinet.
  3. 03 Existing controllers Mini-C, Mini-C Plus or DB devices carry the decision out.

A Mini-C Plus + Mini-C Pro combination is the configuration to evaluate when a project needs both modular control and more vision capacity.

Planned product. Mini-C Pro is in development. Network coordination, processing capacity and compatibility are still being validated. Nothing on this page is a final specification, and the released product takes precedence over any statement made here.
